Finishing School is an interdisciplinary artist collective that explores contemporary social, political, and environmental issues. Gap, 2004
Gap, Installation View, 2005 Gap questions the division of corporate money, power and labor within Gap Incorporated. Specifically, Gap contrasts the CEO/President and one garment worker, employed in a Gap Incorporated-contracted factory. This project aims to draw attention to the extreme differences in quality of life and working environment between these two subjects. Gap exposes the reality of the sweatshop experience, the consequences of supporting this type of industry and offers viable ways to narrow the disparity. |
