Finishing School is an interdisciplinary artist collective that explores contemporary social, political, and environmental issues. Their projects conflate praxis, play, and activism and seek to engage audiences through various participatory models. Finishing School was established in 2001 and is based in Los Angeles.

re-image, Digital Image, 2003 re-image was an action performed at Remote Lounge in New York City. The project employed existing interactive technology in the multimedia club to raise public awareness of the ease in corrupting technology and the potential misuse of surveillance data; and to challenge the participants’ actions regarding the politics of identity and body imaging-both as subject/object and as viewer. |
